Mistral announced the availability of OMAP35x EVM (Evaluation Module), an ARM Cortex-A8 processor-based development platform. OMAP35x EVM is a low cost software development and device prototyping platform, especially for wireless and multimedia based application development. The new development platform is based on TI’s new OMAP devices which integrate an ARM Cortex-A8 processor. The superscalar Cortex-A8 processor incorporates all new technologies available in the ARMv7 architecture, including ARM Thumb-2, TrustZone and NEON technology.
